The Business Product Specialist participates in the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for new or existing products. The role encompasses a broad set of activities required to get the product (or set of products) to market and to support it thereafter. The Business Product Specialist participates in business case development and business analysis to identify how value is created, specific price points and analysis of market sizing / potential. The Business Product Specialist assists in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to define the product vision. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Partakes in product strategy formulation to generate competitive advantage for clients and drive value creation. Conducts regular product reviews to resolve any obstacles and issues that may arise during a product\'s lifecycle. Provides ongoing analysis of the product in the marketplace, articulates the needs of the market, reports competitor activity and plans development of future releases. Works to ensure the product supports the company\'s overall strategy and meets legal and regulatory compliance. In the absence of a dedicated product marketing specialist, the Business Product Specialist assumes the marketing responsibilities.

Our pillars include: CB Portal, omnichannel client self-service, client portals, API, messaging & integration.

The candidate will be a member of the Client Onboarding Tribe, responsible to implement a digitalized and efficient E2E process, supporting quicker client onboarding and implementation of new products. The candidate will focus on the global roll out of the identity verification digitalization (Digital id) initiative which will improve the security and the speed to set up authorized signatories and will minimize the cost for supporting the process manually. The candidate will be responsible for business requirements, roadmap, prioritization, and implementation of Digital id in all Corporate Bank business lines globally. The candidate will partner with and represent the business and user community within the project team while determining which features and functions are required in order to meet program goals.

The role will demand regular interaction within Business, Tech & Operations and various control functions like AFC, Compliance, BCU and Legal. The candidate should therefore be comfortable working with peer level colleagues as well as senior management and possess the necessary interpersonal and leadership qualities.

Your key responsibilities
  • Develop a best in class seamless user experience in a one-stop-shop like and omni-channel setting. Goal shall be a central platform which is 100% digital and (near) real-time - request, view, change or cancel of product features and services shall be fully processed digitally with workflow status provided to the client (and same to Sales, I&S, Operations)
  • Ensure governance decisions and client feedback is tracked, prioritised and tied to product deliverables; establishing & sharing best practices
  • Highlight dependencies, risks and issues for the successful launch of the product
  • Partner with Corporate Bank Tech to deliver defined BOW. In particular, delivery against strategic programmes critical to step-change the product offerings and efficiencies within the organization
Your skills and experiences
  • Product management experience: experience with complex processes and projects involving multiple stakeholders at different levels of the organization and the ability to translate market/client needs into product solutions
  • Experience in problem solving and achieving good quality outputs: Must have a keen eye for detail with a focus on quality control and ability to absorb information quickly and link related topics and translate market/client needs into product solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written English and ability to tailor communication to various audiences and interact and present for senior stakeholders and clients
  • Experience in effectively communicating with and positively influencing project stakeholders and team members without direct reporting responsibility
  • Must be a team player; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently and meet competing/changing deadlines
  • Experienced with all phases of a project lifecycle with focus on business requirements and user acceptance testing and implementation
