About the Role



We are looking for a part-time DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support our growing technical team. This role focuses on automation, infrastructure management, and ensuring system reliability during non-working hours in Bali time (GMT+8), making it ideal for candidates based in time zones west of Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain robust infrastructure to ensure system reliability and performance Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage infrastructure Analyze and optimize system performance and resolve bottlenecks Collaborate with developers and product teams to embed reliability into development workflows Provide production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues Drive continuous improvements in system efficiency and developer productivity

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, ideally supporting high-traffic web or SaaS platforms Strong Linux/Unix system administration and networking skills Hands-on experience with AWS services Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), Python, or Go

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator Backend development experience with RESTful APIs or real-time services
