Your role



As a DevOps Engineer, you will operate and improve IT & InfoSec solutions to deliver secure, seamless experiences for our team internally - and for our customers externally. We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in operating containerized environments, cloud management, automation/coding, and systems administration. You will collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled engineers to keep the services that our company and customers depend on to get their work done safe and reliable. This involves being highly responsive, thinking critically as to the request versus policy and always having a customer service perspective.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to the CTO and is designated remote.

What you will do



Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your domain of expertise Cultivate and drive best engineering practices across the company Maintain, extend and manage our hybrid cloud infrastructure Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for the various products Work with development teams to automate and streamline releases of our applications. Improve the operational environment to increase availability and scalability. Implement and execute security policies; identify and resolve security issues. Run scans, and harden server images, configuration, networks, and environments. Monitor services infrastructure performance; analyze issues, recommend and implement changes. Document DevOps processes: develop standards to guide operations, support, and maintenance. Participate in defect triage and daily meetings. Continually enhance your skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business, and information systems.

Required Skills



Significant professional experience in the field Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and mostly asynchronous work environment (German a plus) Demonstrated capacity to clearly communicate about complex technical and architectural problems and propose thorough iterative solutions Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term Practical communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers and clear status updates Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
