YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The What:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Blackwave, you’ll operate right where innovation meets production. You’ll develop and industrialize manufacturing processes that make our lightweight, high-performance composite components truly flight-ready. From prototype to series production, you help our technology take off.

Develop and build the future:

Work on the development and production of our advanced composite products — from prototype to full-scale manufacturing.

Engineer for lightness:

Design components and production processes with a focus on

lightweight solutions for aerospace applications

Shape innovation:

Be part of a fast, iterative development cycle and contribute your own

ideas, concepts, and creativity

to every stage of the process.

Scale and industrialize:

Take ownership of

scaling up and optimizing manufacturing processes

to ensure efficiency and reliability in serial production.

Be the go-to expert:

Support the team as a key contact for

process and material topics

of components, winding, fixtures, and molding tools.

YOUR PROFILE

Degree in

Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology

, or a related technical field. Initial professional experience in

manufacturing processes especially winding

or

lightweight construction with experience with composite materials.

Strong

team player mindset

, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and departments. Excellent

hands-on skills

and a practical, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.

Creative, curious, and passionate

about pushing the boundaries of lightweight engineering. Excellent

English

language skills (at least C1), German skills appreciated
