TL;DR

We’re hiring a

Senior Developer Advocate

to grow the Haystack community and bring deepset’s LLM products to more developers and organizations. You’ll lead DevRel strategy across content, events, and community programs by creating resources that educate, engage, and drive adoption. The Haystack community is growing fast, and you’ll help shape it by connecting with developers, sharing knowledge, and making AI more accessible through open source and commercial tools.

Requirements

5+ years as a Developer Advocate or Software Engineer, with hands-on experience writing, maintaining, and supporting Python code Proven success managing the community-to-customer lifecycle across open-source and commercial products Skilled in creating technical content (talks, blogs, videos) and presenting at developer events Experience leading and engaging online communities across platforms like Twitter, Discord, Stack Overflow, Reddit, and YouTube Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to connect goals to outcomes through programs and tactics Comfortable turning developer and market insights into product feedback and roadmap input Active contributor to open-source communities, with a passion for collaboration and knowledge sharing Familiarity with LLMs and NLP, or motivation to learn quickly Willing to travel for meetups, conferences, and community events

Background in LLMs, NLP, or developer tooling Open-source experience is a plus Familiarity with technical SEO or content performance metrics Strong personal presence on developer platforms (e.g. GitHub, Twitter, Stack Overflow)
