What tasks can you expect with us?

Administration, maintenance, and optimization of our MariaDB databases Ensuring data integrity, availability, and security Performing performance analyses and optimizations Implementing backup and recovery strategies Supporting the planning and execution of database migrations Collaborating with developers to optimize database queries and structures Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues Documenting database architectures and processes Automating database installation and maintenance tasks

What do we want from you?

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification Strong knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL and experience in administering relational databases Experience with SQL and database design Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies as well as performance tuning Experience with Ansible is a plus, but not required Linux knowledge is an advantage Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) is a plus Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a structured working approach Good communication skills in English
