Job Summary

The Data Scientist – AI, LLM & Data Analytics will join the Inpixon team in Frankfurt, working in a hybrid model with regular in-office days each week.
This full-time role focuses on the development and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs), the application of advanced AI technologies, and in-depth data analytics. The goal is to leverage complex datasets, extract actionable insights, and transform them into innovative, AI-driven product solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities

LLM Development & Fine-Tuning: Train, optimize, and evaluate Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Claude). AI Product Integration: Implement LLM-powered features and AI workflows into existing and new applications. Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze large and complex datasets (structured & unstructured) to support data-driven decision-making. Data Engineering & Feature Engineering: Prepare, transform, and enrich datasets for analytics and model training. Visualization & Storytelling: Build dashboards and reports to present analysis and AI results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. AI Research & Innovation: Identify new use cases and opportunities for LLMs and data science methodologies. Evaluation of AI & Analytics Tools: Select and benchmark tools and frameworks for performance, efficiency, and scalability. Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, data engineering, and other departments to define and implement AI strategies.
Preferred Skills/Abilities

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field. Strong experience with LLMs (training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG) and frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or LlamaIndex. Solid expertise in data analytics, statistics, and visualization (Python: Pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, Plotly; BI tools like Tableau or Power BI). Experience with machine learning and natural language processing. Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale databases. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools. Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts. Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.
