Data Center Advisory Lead (m/f/d) JLL Germany
Location: Frankfurt Germany (German- and English-speaking)
We are a fast growing, globally connected, EMEA-wide Data Centre business. Thanks to our speed and strength of growth, we are looking for a vibrant and experienced Data Centre Lead for our Germany Data Centre business.
This is a senior fee-generating role responsible for growing the JLL data centre business in Germany with an advisory-led approach.
Role Purpose:

• Representing all service lines of our data centre solution across the German market
• Driving growth for all service lines together with the respective DC and JLL specialised teams
• Developing the JLL Germany Data Centre network and building connections in the industry and with affiliated partners, including attending and speaking at industry events
• Manage cross-functional teams to win and to deliver consulting projects and navigate a matrixed business environment.
• Collaborate with Data Centre owners, operators, and investors and the real estate industry to understand their pain-points and position JLL as their partner of choice

Key Activities:

• Develop and lead the strategic DC growth agenda for JLL in Germany with an advisory-led approach delivering increased revenue in the sector.
• Lead and engage at all levels internally and externally as we embody the consulting-led sales approach to grow the whole Data Centre business.
• Be the coordinator of the JLL DC community across all lines of businesses in Germany.
• Lead in the market, attending events, acting as a thought-leader on panels and other speaking opportunities and evangelising JLL and the Data Centre offer in the industry.
• Ensure excellence in client liaison and service, maintaining and developing a professional relationship at peer/sponsor level within the client organisation.
• Establish deliverables, resource needs, and work plans with clients and internal departments.
• Draft proposals and commercial terms with the relevant JLL & JLL DC teams.
• Manage multiple high-priority projects across the region, ensuring compliance with client's procedures.
• Conduct financial analysis and generate business case reports.
• Share your knowledge on a broad range of Data Centre consulting topics such as Sustainability, Supply Chain, Physical Security, Technological innovation and Operations

Candidate Requirements:

• Passion for Data Centres with a holistic understanding along the entire DC lifecycle from concept and site selection to project delivery to DC operations.
• German- and English-speaking.
• Advisory-led solutions approach based on some consulting experience.
• Strong experience with a track record of converting relationships into fee-earning work.
• Commercial, self-driven, flexible, and adaptable.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality.
• Team player with people management expertise (direct or indirect).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Detail-oriented and quick to grasp essential details while staying focused on bigger picture.
• Problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).

Reporting Line:

• Dual reporting into: EMEA Data Centre Consulting Lead and local JLL Board member
