YOUR TASKS:

The Program

Over the course of six months, you will get to know the most important facets of modern cybersecurity – from consulting and governance through security operations to technical security solutions.

From day one, you will be actively involved and systematically prepared for a future role within the one.secure service portfolio – whether in Advisory & GRC, Security Engineering, Identity & Access Management, Threat Detection & Response or Vulnerability Management.

Your Learning Journey

Module 1 – Managed Services & Consulting Basics (months 1–2)

Introduction to cybersecurity services, service processes and delivery models Fundamentals of professional consulting, communication and teamwork Training: IT Service Management & Consulting Fundamentals

Module 2 – Cybersecurity Fundamentals (months 3–4)

Basic knowledge of network security, attack detection, identity management and cryptography Hands-on exercises in security analysis, incident response and risk assessment Training: Security Fundamentals & Operations

Module 3 – Specialisation & Practical Phase (months 5–6)

Choose your focus area according to your interests and strengths:


Advisory & GRC: information security management, compliance frameworks and requirements, audit methods Technology & Engineering: design and implementation of secure infrastructures Identity & Access Management: access control, authorisation concepts and privileged user management Threat Detection & Response / SOC: detection, analysis and response to security incidents Vulnerability Management: vulnerability identification, risk-based prioritisation and reporting

At the end of the programme, you will complete a practice-oriented capstone project in your chosen focus area and receive the internal certification

“QBY Cybersecurity – Trainee Program Graduate”.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

Completed or soon-to-be-completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics or a related field
or vocational training as an IT specialist (system integration, application development) or comparable professional experience
Strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity, cloud technologies and digitalisation Analytical mindset, solid technical understanding and eagerness to learn Team spirit, sense of responsibility and strong communication skills Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills Willingness to travel
