The Brand Creative Director leads the direction of campaigns and brand projects across the EMEA region. This means defining ideas, developing creative concepts, and making sure the approach fits the brief, and our global brand guidelines. The role partners with marketers, media professionals, social teams and agencies to move work from early thinking to delivery.
The Creative Director helps maintain and expand Adobe’s brand across different markets. This includes guiding teams on tone, visuals, and storytelling across brand campaigns, partnerships and experiences. It’s a mix of structure and flexibility, and it works best with someone who enjoys variety.
They understand our audiences deeply, employing trends and insights to build work that is mindful of cultural shifts.
Collaboration is at the center of the job. The role connects with the global Studio team, Brand Operations, Partnership, Event and Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, and agency partners. What helps in this role
Experience in creative direction or senior art direction is important, along with a portfolio that shows clear thinking and strong brand storytelling across multiple channels. Experience working across multiple countries or cultures helps, as does comfort working with many types of partners. Leadership experience matters, especially when guiding agency and hybrid creative teams through fast?paced work. What you'll Do
Build influential relationships between the Studio and marketing teams to understand priorities, clarify objectives, and communicate plans clearly.
Foster creative excellence through brand design systems, meeting business goals while maintaining brand consistency and regional relevance.
Lead multiple design projects at once, ensuring focused, efficient delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure seamless execution across all stages of production.
Cultivate a collaborative, positive team environment and set the tone for delivering excellence across the organization.
Strive for operational excellence by proactively identifying and driving improvements in design processes.
Align creative direction with business goals and effectively manage stakeholder expectations across marketing and leadership teams.
Champion creative work that not only inspires but also delivers measurable impact, using feedback and performance data to continuously improve. What you need to succeed
A strong creative point of view—you’re not afraid to challenge the brief, the copy, or the process to elevate the work.
Passion for brand-building and design systems, with a drive to deliver standout future-proof results.
Experience directing brand expression across a wide range of platforms, including video, digital, social, print, etc.
Brand architecture knowledge, and experience creating complex brand toolkits and frameworks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with sharp problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Exceptional team member presentation skills, being able to distill complex design concepts into simple solutions to tricky briefs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment while effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
A drive to learn about how emerging technologies are shaping design.
A passion for contemporary culture, sports and the arts. Education & Experience
10+ years of experience in the creative and marketing industry
Hands-on experience with and advocate for Adobe Creative Cloud products and compose processes improved by AI.
Proficient English skills. A second language (ideally German or French) are highly desirable.
