You combine financial expertise with operational sharpness and translate complexity into clarity, efficiency, and financial performance. As part of our Finance team, you're the bridge between strategic finance and day-to-day product execution.

Your Tasks

You design, optimize, and implement scalable financial workflows for our core payment products with a clear focus on operational control, cost efficiency, and compliance. You translate tax and legal requirements into concrete process logic and ensure we're audit-ready, regulator-proof, and profit-oriented. You lead and improve the financial controlling cycle for payment flows - from closing and forecasting to product-level profitability analysis. You work closely with cross-functional teams in Germany and the Netherlands - ensuring seamless coordination, shared tools, and common financial logic. You create transparency through well-structured reporting, KPIs, and actionable insights - empowering business decisions at all levels. You champion a culture of process excellence, with a mindset of automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Your Experience

You have 3+ years of experience in Controlling, Finance, or Process Optimization, ideally in a payment, fintech, or financial services context You know how payment products work: From SEPA to card schemes, from transaction fees to fraud costs You understand cross-border VAT and tax logic - and how it impacts P&L, contracts, and process design You have experience working with multiple legal entities and know how to align reporting, processes, and compliance across countries You think in workflows, numbers, and dependencies and turn strategic goals into operational outcomes You speak fluent English and German (Dutch is a plus) and are comfortable collaborating across cultures and functions
