Your profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Environmental Policy, Marine Science, Journalism, or a related field.
At least 3+ years of experience in science, policy, or environmental communication - ideally in EU-funded projects.
Proven analytical and communication skills and ability to produce high-quality reports, briefs and policy recommendations.
Understanding of marine governance, MSP, biodiversity, and EU environmental policy frameworks will be considered as advantage.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English language. Proficiency in German and/or other languages of the Baltic Sea region is an advantage.
Proven ability in project and workshop organisation and management.
Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
Good knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint.
Able to travel occasionally in Europe to co-host or participate in events.
Proficiency in tools like WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Suite, and social media management platforms such as Hootsuite.
Ability to work across disciplines and cultures, managing multiple partners and tight deadlines.
Desirable: Familiarity with graphic design, audio-visual production, or data visualization is a strong asset.
