You support our team as
COMMODITY BUYER CSS/PG (F/M/D)
Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, negotiate, and qualify suppliers (existing and new), including supplier visits when required
Manage RfQs, conduct price comparisons, and place purchase orders according to MRP or approved requisitions
Coordinate closely with Supply Chain Management and internal stakeholders, including participation in project meetings
Monitor, expedite, and report on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
Maintain and update production and material-related documentation with current status
Improve procurement efficiency and data quality through SAP automation tools and accurate ERP data maintenance
Qualifications
Higher education or equivalent professional experience; technical or manufacturing background is an advantage, with willingness to travel occasionally
Confident, enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (MM module)
Good knowledge of HSE requirements and adherence to company policies
Experience from the sealing industry respectively packings and gaskets would be of advantage
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
