Your Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing SME clients in the DACH region.
Act as the
first point of contact (in German)
for client support and queries, coordinating with our mostly English-speaking technical team.
Coordinate with our
technical delivery team (based in South Africa)
to ensure smooth handover and delivery.
Handle
light administrative tasks
such as quotes, invoicing, project updates, and timelines.
Identify opportunities to
upsell or cross-sell
services (e.g., SEO, newsletters, e-commerce enhancements).
Offer
insightful, business-oriented advice
on how clients can improve their online presence and performance.
Support
light-touch business development
including inbound lead handling and local networking.
Stay informed about
trends in digital marketing, websites, e-commerce, and AI tools
to provide clients with relevant, forward-looking guidance.#
Your profile
2–5 years of experience in a
digital or web agency
, in
customer success
,
account management
,
sales
, or a similar client-facing role. Candidates with a
technical background
(e.g., in web development or e-commerce implementation) who want to
move into account or business development
are also welcome!
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with SME clients.
Excellent organizational and communication skills; comfortable working
independently and remotely
.
Solid understanding of
digital marketing, web design, and e-commerce
, and how these drive business outcomes.
Curiosity and initiative to stay current on
digital tools, marketing technologies, and AI trends
.
Basic familiarity with
WordPress, WooCommerce, or Shopware
(hands-on development not required).
Fluent in
German
(spoken and written) and comfortable communicating in
