Your mission at Mercanis

As an Intern in the CEO Office at Mercanis, you will work

directly with our Chief of Staff and management team

, gaining a 360° view of how a fast-growing SaaS company operates. You will contribute to strategic projects, operational initiatives, and company-wide processes that drive Mercanis’ growth. This internship is a

Your Responsibilities on this role

Strategic Orchestrator:

Work closely with our Chief of Staff and C-Level to drive key initiatives, prepare leadership meetings, and ensure smooth execution across projects.

Innovation Steward:

Take ownership of impactful projects — from idea generation to validation and implementation — contributing directly to company growth.

Operational Backbone:

Support daily operations, optimize internal processes, and ensure that business activities run efficiently and on schedule.

Cross-Functional Partner:

Gain exposure to collaboration across teams, high-stakes decision-making, and the operational dynamics of a fast-growing B2B SaaS Start-up.

Market Maven:

Conduct targeted research on markets, competitors, and emerging trends to inform strategic priorities.

Role requirements

You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a

leading university

in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. You

have experience in investment banking, management consulting

, or similarly demanding environments. You bring very

strong analytical and financial modeling skills

, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. You have a keen

affinity for AI and digital innovation

, ideally with some exposure to data-driven business models or SaaS. You are

quick to understand and analyse complex circumstances

, develop practical solutions, and execute with precision and ownership. You thrive in

fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take initiative to solve problems

proactively. You have

strong communication and interpersonal skills

, enabling you to work effectively with senior stakeholders. You are

fluent in both English and German

— this is a must.
