In this high-impact role, you will be a key member of our Indirect Procurement team, reporting directly to the Group Manager of Indirect Procurement at the Berlin Gigafactory. Your expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and project management will play a critical role in supporting Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Do

Lead sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities for key indirect categories to drive Tesla's growth and operational excellence. Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including market research, RFx processes, total cost analysis, and contract negotiation. Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, ensuring performance, service continuity, and alignment with ESG and compliance standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in EHS, Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, and Sustainability to define needs and drive procurement excellence. Identify and drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk mitigation opportunities through continuous improvement and demand management. Monitor market trends and innovation, identifying new partners, technologies, and solutions that can enhance service quality or environmental impact. Act as a change agent, promoting procurement best practices and supporting internal stakeholders through category transitions or new sourcing models. Support contract lifecycle management, including negotiation of SLAs, compliance with legal and corporate requirements, and performance review cycles. Leverage data and digital tools to provide transparency, track KPIs, and make informed decisions. Contribute to broader procurement transformation initiatives, such as digitalization, sustainability strategy, and supplier diversity programs.

What You'll Bring

With a passion for indirect procurement and a commitment to sustainability, you are driven to oversee and elevate procurement activities across diverse categories. You bring a strategic mindset, proven leadership, and the ability to implement impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, with a focus on indirect spend categories. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, with a track record of delivering cost savings and efficiency improvements in indirect spend categories. Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable procurement strategies. Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment with evolving priorities. Proven ability to collaborate across functions, lead cross-functional projects, and engage stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build relationships and influence outcomes. Fluent in English and German; proficiency in other European languages is a plus. Familiarity with responsible sourcing principles and commitment to sustainable procurement practices. Location: Spend more than 80% at our Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in Grünheide (Mark) with occasional travel to vendor locations.
