About the role:

We’re looking for a Business Controller – Operations Controlling who will bring financial insight, drive, and analytical strength to our operations. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to our Logistics and Supply Chain teams — supporting them with clear financial analyses, actionable insights, and a focus on continuous improvement.

About your tasks:

Partner with Logistics and Operations teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews. Analyze operational costs, KPIs, and variances to identify efficiency gains and cost optimization opportunities. Lead financial support for logistics investment projects — from business case development to project controlling. Monitor and challenge operational spending to ensure alignment with strategic and budgetary goals. Maintain and develop the Logistics Scorecard, translating key performance data into meaningful insights. Contribute to working capital optimization through selective support on stock and payment term evaluations.

Qualifications

About you:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling or as a Financial Analyst, ideally within Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, PowerQuery, and / or PowerPivot. A structured, proactive mindset and excellent communication skills. Fluency in English; German is a plus.
