As a
Business Controller (m/f/d)
, you will take ownership of reporting, prepare independent analyses, and contribute to strategic marketing planning, ensuring cost transparency and supporting the company's success.
Responsibilities
Create clear and concise reports and dashboards, translating complex data into strategic narratives for key stakeholders
Actively assist in conducting efficiency and cost analyses to drive cost transparency and highlight optimization opportunities in marketing spend
Analyze and monitor performance holistically across all markets, deriving actionable insights and recommendations to guide investment decisions
Support the entire marketing planning, forecasting, and financial closing processes
Continuously develop, automate, and improve internal processes and reporting tools
Perform ad-hoc analyses and provide foundational support for special projects
Manage interfaces between Finance, Online Marketing & Marketing Intelligence
Requirements
Excellent degree in an analytical field, e.g., Economics or Business Administration
At least 2 years of relevant experience in business controlling, marketing analytics, marketing controlling or related areas, preferably in an e-commerce environment
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of SQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Data Studio is a plus
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
Ability to quickly grasp processes and analyses and communicate them clearly
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
