The Business Architect is a team leader

on

our project engagement teams and is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing business changes using technology-enabled solutions. Business Architects are tasked with facilitating workshops and

requirements

sessions to understand the client’s current state processes and technology. From the sessions’ outputs, the Business Architect will map out a future state that includes improved process definition as well as best-practice architecture and implementation of a selected platform. The Business Architect also designs and deploys solutions that support our clients’ business processes and requirements. This individual must be able to manage and deliver components of client engagements that include analysis of current state business

process

and technology, process and functional design, future state prototyping and architecture for a selected vendor.

Responsibilities

Define and design target After Sales & Service Management architectures leveraging leading service platforms and parts planning solutions to maximize value for clients across asset-intensive industries

Shape service-oriented business capabilities, end-to-end process models, and functional designs aligned with clients’ strategic objectives and industry best practices in after-sales, warranty, and service delivery

Partner with client executives and internal consulting teams to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder buy-in for service transformation roadmaps

Translate complex after-sales challenges—such as warranty leakage, service cost optimization, parts availability, and service responsiveness—into future-state operating models enabled by digital service and parts planning solutions

Provide architectural oversight for solution configuration, data integration, and process enablement across warranty management, service operations, parts forecasting, and parts pricing

Facilitate executive workshops to co-create the transformation vision, define critical service capabilities, and drive cross-functional alignment across service operations, supply chain, finance, engineering, and dealer/partner networks

Develop business case frameworks, benefit realization models, and capability maturity assessments to guide decision-making for service transformations

Contribute to pre-sales and business development by shaping service transformation approaches, proposals, and strategic client presentations

Act as a mentor to consulting teams, building capability in business architecture methods, after-sales process design, and service solution enablement

Drive thought leadership and

contribute

to the After Sales & Service Management practice through frameworks, reference architectures, and industry-leading best

practice

.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Deep knowledge of end-to-end after-sales and service management processes, including warranty management, service operations, parts planning, and parts pricing

Proven experience designing and architecting business capabilities and process models for service transformation programs enabled by platforms such as ServiceNow, Syncron,

PriceFX

, PTC, or comparable solutions

Strong understanding of after-sales challenges, operational requirements, and best practices across asset-intensive and service-driven industries

Ability to translate strategic service objectives into executable capability roadmaps and target-state architectural designs

Experience developing business cases, benefits frameworks, and transformation roadmaps for large-scale service and aftermarket programs

Executive presence and the ability to engage, influence, and advise C-suite stakeholders across global service and operations organizations

Strong analytical skills with structured problem-solving and conceptual design capabilities

Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to articulate complex service architecture concepts with clarity

Demonstrated ability to work across consulting, technical, and client teams to bridge business and technology perspectives in after-sales environments

Resilience, adaptability, and decisiveness in dynamic, high-pressure delivery contexts

Willingness and ability to travel or operate in a hybrid/remote client-facing environment as needed

Preferred qualification/ Skillset

Exposure to multiple service and aftermarket platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Syncron,

, PTC, SAP Service Cloud)

Experience working in regulated global industries such as automotive, industrial manufacturing, heavy equipment, or aerospace

Familiarity with digital service trends, IoT-driven service models, predictive maintenance, and Generative/Agentic AI applications in after-sales

Recognized as a trusted advisor in service strategy, warranty transformation, and parts planning/pricing architecture discussions

Experience developing business architecture frameworks, maturity models, or capability reference maps for after-sales functions

Track record of contributing to practice development, thought leadership, or go-to-market strategy in service management
