Your Role

Consulting the specialist departments regarding a contemporary, future-oriented, and cost-effective design of business processes and workflows using innovative technologies Proactive consulting of the specialist departments (including market observation) as a contact person for specialist requirements and the design/optimization of processes through IT comprehensive solutions Recording, analyzing, and describing needs, possibly including the creation of use cases/user stories Creating orders (solution-independent, specialist requirements of the specialist departments) and obtaining professional approvals Supporting the specialist department in creating business cases Coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of needs with the affected specialist departments and cross-functional staff units and portfolio management

Your profile

Completed university or technical college degree with a focus on insurance, organization, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or computer science, or comparable completed training with several years of professional experience in one of the aforementioned areas Willingness to travel, including to the international units of ERGO.
Good command of English, both spoken and written

Strong communication and mediation skills in facilitating between different interface partners
Knowledge of relevant business processes and workflows with a focus on SAP (e.g., FI/CO, PaPM, or FS-RI, etc.) is desirable Good knowledge in business and process analysis and requirements modeling. Proficient handling of contemporary control tools in the requirements and portfolio management environment (e.g., Atlassian Products, Azure DevOps, etc.) Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex issues Strong team spirit and intercultural competence, as well as initiative, result orientation, and readiness to take responsibility Market knowledge of contemporary future technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, analytics, robotics, etc.) Prior knowledge in the area of insurance, especially IFRS, accounting, controlling, and/or ESG, is an advantage
