YOUR TASKS

• Work collaboratively with scientists across Biologics Engineering to understand how they design laboratory experiments and analyse the resulting data.
• Design and conceptualize medium and high throughput screening platforms for Biologics Lead Discovery and optimization
• Adopt existing platform to new workflows
• Analyze laboratory processes and plan new automation solutions
• Analyzing and evaluating existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement Minimizing platform downtime by ensuring interfaces between devices are properly set and prepared
• Together with the team decide and implement standard operation procedures for the use of the automation platform
• Development and implementation of solutions to ensure smooth operation of the robotic systems and overall efficiency in automated screening

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor or higher degree chemistry, biochemistry, protein chemistry, biochemical engineering or related field
• Experience working with scientists to develop applications for research
• Experience with medium and of high throughput laboratory automation for lead discovery or protein optimization purposes
• Experience with laboratory automation software from multiple vendors
• German mandatory & English would be benificial
