Role Overview:

The AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing, automating, and optimizing cloud environments using AWS and Azure services. The role requires expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration while ensuring compliance, security, and resilience within enterprise-scale systems.

Core Responsibilities

Administer and manage DevOps environments. Collaborate with developers to implement CI/CD pipelines and releases for digital platforms. Promote operational efficiency, resilience, and reduced time-to-market through automation and cloud adoption. Support cloud-based deployments using IaC and DevOps best practices. Evaluate and escalate operational risks under the bank’s risk framework. Troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues across environments. Ensure cost-efficient cloud operations while maintaining security, compliance, and resilience. Produce and maintain technical documentation for designs and operations. Mentor junior resources and promote continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications

University degree or equivalent, ideally in IT or related field. Strong hands-on experience in AWS and/or Azure Cloud Services. Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodeBuild, Azure DevOps, and Git-based workflows. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD is a plus. Strong scripting skills (Shell, Bash, YAML, Golang, Python desirable). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Dynatrace, logz.io). Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
