Job Description

Our client, an international pharma company is looking for a Associate Director Facility Management & Site Services to join their dynamic team. In this position you with lead the facility management and site services for our client, who is based between Hamburg and Flensberg. Our client are rapidly expanding and have recently invested $350 million into their state of the art production site.

Our client has invested heavily in this new project, with brand new equipment. They have a strong financial backing and need someone to take on the disciplinary responsibility in your engineering department; Facility Management & Site Services.

Responsibilities:
Disciplinary management of the Facility Management & Site Services division
Responsible for the correct operation of the technical building equipment (TGA), machines and equipment
Organization of qualifications, calibrations and maintenance and their GMP-compliant documentation of the building services and equipment in the facility management area
Organization of the coordination and monitoring of service companies and suppliers
Contact to the relevant offices and authorities (building authority / TÜV)
Optimizing and increasing the efficiency of the systems
Responsible for compliance with the provisions of AMG, AMWHV and accident prevention regulations in the area of facility management
Collaboration in securing sufficient and qualified personnel and hiring new employees for the group
Participation in the creation and maintenance of group-relevant documents, e.g. the creation of operating instructions
Collaboration in the development of measures to avoid errors in the engineering area
Participation in budget preparation and responsibility for budget compliance in the Facility Management & Site Services division

Requirements;
Technical degree (e.g. engineering, preferably in the field of supply technology, energy and building technology or building air conditioning) or a completed technical vocational training (e.g. technician / master (m / f / d) in the field of mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics)
Leadership experience
Good knowledge of the planning and handling of projects for the TGA (HVAC) in the context of new construction and renovation projects
Several years of professional experience in essential areas of technical building equipment such as ventilation and air conditioning in clean rooms, GMP, media supply, refrigeration technology and knowledge of energy and environmental technology and technical fire protection would also be desirable
Ideally, some professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry w/ practical experience in the field of freeze-drying and aseptic filling
Pronounced awareness of quality and responsibility, including the exact and careful way of working that goes with it
Knowledge of various processing models for construction projects would also be an advantage
Familiar with dealing with the HOAI
You have excellent problem-solving and very good practical judgment skills as well as a very high level of initiative and commitment
Communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness round off your profile
You have business fluent English skills in order to communicate with interlocutors at all levels
