As Associate Director External QC Network (m/w/d) at BioNTech, you oversee the complete QC-panel from release testing to stability studies of our external products.

Your responsibilities are:

Representation of external/global QC as QC-lead in multidisciplinary project teams Definition of the QC project strategy in multiple protein projects (ADC, mAb, bispesifics) Overseeing QC-activities at multiple CDMOs and CROs to ensure delivery of QC-associated work packages Act as technical expert (m/we/d) for QC-CDMO oversight withing external QC Participate in generation and approval of QC-related GMP-documentation Management of full QC-value chain

What you have to offer:

University degree in a scientific/life-science-related field (PhD) Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QC (ideally analytical development) within the pharmaceutical industry Profound experience in CMC development, including commercialization Experience in managing CDMOs globally Analytical background with proteins and antibodies Previous experience in a function leadership role Strong communication as well as (self-)organizing skills Fluent English (both oral and written)
