As a Solutions Architect on the Product Analytics Customer Solutions team, you’ll be on the cutting edge of the latest Emerson/NI product analytics technology. You will engage with NI’s top customers in digital transformation engagements and help architect solutions, bringing to bear Emerson/NI analytics technology to enable our customer’s success.


The Product Analytics Solutions team provides customer-facing software development capability in support of Enterprise software and data deployments. As an architect in this team, you will use your skills to architect and solution advanced data solutions to improve lab or manufacturing operations for our customers. Coordinating a development team tasked with building interface modules for data, improving domain applications, assisting with customer integrations, and publishing reference designs and architecture for integrating functionalities like analytics, software deployment automation, and machine learning applications!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

You will become an expert user of NI's Enterprise software applications including SystemLink and Optimal+ You'll work with the sales team to assess the customer’s spoken and unspoken needs and provide demonstrations showing how our solutions can solve those needs. You will bring to bear your knowledge in lab operations, test, manufacturing, yield, quality and statistical analysis to: + Architect a technical solution that will help customers realize significant business value in their labs or production facilities using NI’s analytic solutions
+ Work with a multi-functional team to develop a full proposal
+ Be the technical lead and advisor for the multi-functional team delivering that solution.
You are a technical lead who will collaborate with onshore and offshore customer and internal resources You will enable customer specific customizations requiring advanced scripting and programming techniques You will be responsible to proactively assist the customer as they fix incorrect product or process behavior using data analysis, system log files, application engineers’ knowledge and internal R&D support You will clearly document solving processes, technical findings, and customized solutions to capture and re-use knowledge You enjoy high complexity tasks which requires knowledge of technical and business trade-offs, mastering new skills and prioritizing multiple competing projects

For this Role, You will Need:

BS/MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Related Field 5 + years technical experience in validation, test or manufacturing related areas Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and test operations, and use of data analytics and/or business intelligence applications in test operations, yield and quality Experience in a customer facing role in either applications or customer technical support Working knowledge using online tools to solve software and hardware interoperability problems Strong knowledge of Python or equivalent programming languages Familiarity with multiple data file formats but not limited to XML, XSD, and CSV Excellent communication skills in German and English Able to travel as much as 25%

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and test operations, and use of data analytics and/or business intelligence applications in test operations, yield and quality Experience in a customer facing role in either applications or customer technical support
