FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. The rescue center for bears is located right in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District in the North of Germany. Since 2006, the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz has provided mistreated and neglected bears with a safe and natural home. Your contribution will be

Taking care of rescued bears according to the feeding plan Caring and maintaining of the enclosures Implementing of FOUR PAWS quality standards Designing of enrichments Supporting the veterinary examations Documenting of individual animal health, feeding and behavioural problems Public relations work, e.g. participation in events of all kinds

Your profile ideally illustrates

Education as zoological animal care taker Experience in husbandry of large carnivores Ability to work independently Hands-on mentality and skilled craftmanship People person who likes to interact with others including guests and staff Drivers licence (B) Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
