Join our dynamic and innovative ADAS team as an Expert Algorithm Engineer specializing in Motion Planning. You will drive innovation by developing and optimizing motion planning algorithms for various ADAS applications, including automatic parking, adaptive cruise control (ACC), and autonomous driving.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy software supporting VinFast’s ADAS technology, with a focus on behavior planning and motion planning modules.
Utilize modern planning algorithms to generate optimized, safe, and dynamically feasible trajectories.
Apply advanced vehicle dynamics knowledge to enhance motion planning algorithms.
Translate automotive industry requirements into practical algorithmic solutions.
Follow agile development methodologies and the V-Model for developing motion planning modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate motion planning algorithms into ADAS systems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
7 to 10 years of proven experience in the automotive industry, specifically in ADAS or autonomous driving.
Strong understanding of commonly implemented motion planning algorithms in the automotive industry.
Ability to deliver complex software features from design to implementation and testing on automotive-grade hardware.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems.
Proficient in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB.
Experience with agile development methodologies and the V-Model.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
Understanding of AUTOSAR and AUTOSAR Adaptive.
Familiarity with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing and deploying motion planning algorithms in real-world automotive applications.
Familiarity with complex vehicle models.
Understanding of automotive standards and safety protocols, such as ISO 26262.
