Accounting Manager

Our Investment, Accounting, and Reporting Solutions division operates on a global scale, with offices strategically located in the Germany, UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and Poland. As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with a committed team to ensure that our reporting services align with client expectations and industry standards.

About the Role:

Oversee the review and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements. Provide technical leadership to the accounting team, including mentoring and developing junior staff. Manage and delegate tasks within a small team of accountants, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Prepare monthly financial statements for the internal controlling team. Assist in the preparation of the cash flow forecast. Reconcile intercompany loans and balances with all stakeholders. Oversee daily treasury, cash management, and accounting operations for the portfolio. Perform account reconciliations, post journal entries, and ensure accurate transaction recording within the accounting system. Collaborate with banks and financial institutions on financing arrangements and loan execution. Manage and maintain the reporting system (Yardi). Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and address internal and external client inquiries, providing excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Initial professional experience in accounting or tax consulting; experience in a real estate company is an advantage. Sound knowledge of German accounting principles according to HGB and tax law. Very good German and English skills.
