To strengthen our team in the area of Client Development and Sales, we are looking for an Account Leader Energy & Resources (f/m/d) throughout Germany to support, expand and further develop our customers in the field of grid expansion and energy generation.
Responsibilities
Establishing/expanding and maintaining customer contacts, acquiring new projects and generating follow-up projects for customers in the field of grid expansion and energy generation
Active customer support and establishment of strategic customer partnerships, including the further development of projects and the development of customer-oriented solutions
Active participation and support of the sector team, the business development teams and the specialist departments
Support and management of quotation processes, including calculation of project budgets as well as supervision of negotiations as an interface to the customer
Management, accompaniment and support of sector-specific projects, mainly in the area of management, consulting and technical moderation (Senior Expert)
Collaboration in the implementation of cross-selling initiatives, with the aim of offering our customers new and/or additional service and solution packages
Definition as well as development and expansion of knowledge in market-specific specialist topics and self-implementation as a consulting expert at the customer
Participation in specialist and industry conferences as well as preparation of technical articles for publication in social media, online and print media in order to strengthen the external market presence.
International cooperation with customers, colleagues and relevant contact persons from other Arcadis units
Skills & Experience
Completed technical or business university degree
Experience in the sale of services and consulting services
In-depth knowledge of the energy industry in Germany
Sufficient knowledge of project management
Own consulting experience in relevant industry topics
Rapid understanding of complex relationships
Good technical and commercial understanding
Fluent in German and English, other languages are welcome
Own network of customer contacts from the energy industry
Willingness to travel on business in Germany and other European countries
