Für das neu eingerichtete interdisziplinäre Graduiertenkolleg „Navigating the Chaos of Innovation and Transformation“ (NACHOS), das durch das Land Sachsen-Anhalt und den ESF+ gefördert wird, suchen wir die Besetzung einer Promotionsstelle. Das Programm untersucht, wie technologische und digitale Innovationen in verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Bereichen gesteuert sowie umgesetzt werden und sozial gelingen können, welche Konflikte dabei entstehen und wie diese bearbeitet werden können. Es bietet strukturierte, begleitete Promotionsphasen zum Themenschwerpunkt und hat das Ziel, Impulse für neue Arbeits-, Prozess- und Organisationsformen sowie Maßnahmen zur Förderung der Akzeptanz (smarter) Technologien zu setzen. Der Fokus liegt auf einem interdisziplinären Ansatz, bei dem Forscherinnen und Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen aus den Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften eng zusammenarbeiten. Für dieses innovative und ambitionierte Projekt suchen wir einen Promovierenden aus dem Bereich der Geisteswissenschaften mit (Forschungs-)Interesse an Innovationsfeldern wie Robotik, Künstliche Intelligenz (KI/AI) und/oder Medizin-/Gesundheitstechnologien. Der Schwerpunkt Ihrer Aufgaben liegt in der eigenständigen Entwicklung und Durchführung eines Promotionsvorhabens zum Thema „Innovation“ im Rahmen der Graduiertenschule. Die Qualifizierungsstelle ist am Zentrum für Sozialweltforschung und Methodenentwicklung (ZSM) an der Fakultät für Humanwissenschaften (FHW) der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg angesiedelt.

Ihre Aufgaben:

Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines empirischen Promotionsprojekts im Themenfeld Innovation in den Bereichen Robotik, KI/AI und/oder Medizin-/Gesundheitstechnologien Aktive Teilnahme an den regelmäßigen Veranstaltungen der Graduiertenschule NACHOS

Ihr Profil:

Abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium (Diplom, Magister, Master) in den Sozialwissenschaften, der Germanistik, Soziologie, Berufs- und Betriebspädagogik oder in einem angrenzenden Fachgebiet Publikations-, und Reisebereitschaft, inkl. Auslandsaufenthalten bis zu drei Monaten an Universitäten und Forschungsreinrichtungen im europäischen Ausland Sehr gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift Fundierte Methodenkenntnisse der qualitativen und/oder quantitativen Forschung

We are looking to fill a doctoral position for the newly established interdisciplinary research training program “Navigating the Chaos of Innovation and Transformation” (NACHOS), which is funded by the state of Saxony-Anhalt and the ESF+.

The program examines how technological and digital innovations are controlled and implemented in various fields of society and how they can be socially successful, what conflicts arise in the process, and how these can be addressed. It offers structured, supervised doctoral phases on the main topic and aims to provide impetus for new forms of work, processes, and organization, as well as measures to promote the acceptance of (smart) technologies. The focus is on an interdisciplinary approach in which researchers and young scientists from the social and economic sciences work closely together.

For this innovative and ambitious project, we are looking for a doctoral candidate from the field of humanities with (research) interest in innovation fields such as robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and/or medical/health technologies.Your main responsibilities will be the independent development and implementation of a doctoral project on the topic of “innovation” within the framework of the Graduate School.

The position is based at the Center for Social World Research and Method Development (ZSM) at the Faculty of Human Sciences (FHW) at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
